Thanks for making this a successful launch! Conventional wisdom is you can't raise money on KS during the holidays, but we're happy to say we did just fine, thank you very much!
We're in the midst of a redesign to make this holiday issue a bit more festive. That's wrapping up this week, and we plan to have your surveys out to you this week as well. We're shifting our shipping schedule to hopefully have everything to you in January, with the next issue of The Cloakroom hitting Kickstarter in February.
Finally, we're also planning a launch for January - Cicada Samurai #1! This is my (Jerry Carita) first comics creation, and a surprise success on Kickstarter last year ,when I did a campaign to get the first short story off the ground. I'm very proud of it and its AWESOME art. Please follow the pre-launch page here:
FINAL WEEK - New Rewards Available!

So we're officially in "stretch goal" territory thanks to your support. This is where we come up with a bunch of new rewards or add-ons because we've reached our funding goal and would like to get you even more excited for this project.
But I'll be honest.... I don't believe in stretch goals. I don't want to hit a number before I can make cool things we've got lined up available for you. So we're just going to make all the cool stuff we have left available right now for the rest of the campaign. Take a look below - we've got new artist commission rewards and add-ons, and we expanded the availability of an add-on that allows you to collect all 7 covers we've had so far across 3 issues in virgin dress.
ALSO - if you're already a physical backer at some level that does not include a commission, and you'd like to directly support our artists, you can now get those character commissions as an ADD-ON. So there's no need to change your reward tier.
THESE NEW OPTIONS ARE LIMITED so if you're a commission collector you'll need to act fast. Our artists can only take on about 10 pieces each.
If you're already a backer and want to add a commission or the virgin covers, just come on back and adjust your pledge. Once you reconfirm your reward tier, you'll see the new add-ons and get to choose from them if you like.

Thanks to you and your support, we hit our funding goal yesterday! Thank you all for getting behind this project and helping us bring these comics to life. I've personally run 7 Kickstarters now, and it's humbling every time that a group of mostly strangers (and my mom) will get together and decide to help us tell stories.
To celebrate, we're going to add a few things to the campaign in the coming days. We recently created an "art commission" tier for Alex Schumacher, where you can get the book with his cover in both trade and virgin dress, and an art commission from Alex of any character from comics or cartoons that you want. Xander Wise, who did the art for our B Cover, is going to do a similar tier.
We're also going to add simply a "commission" as an add-on. So if you did a catch up tier like "The Whole CloakRoom", and you'd also like to order a commission from Xander or Alex, you'll be able to do that starting this weekend.

The support from you all is overwhelming. We've hit 100 backers faster than we have for either of the first two issues, and had a really strong first couple of days! Almost 3 weeks left and we're already over 60% of the way there. Thanks so much for making this possible.
Now that Halloween and the election are over, I wanted to call your attention to a few rewards we've added since the launch. We added retailer tiers, and a great new reward that lets you directly support an artist and collect awesome art commissions. If you love the art on cover 3, that's an artist named Alex Schumacher, and you can get his version of the book in trade and virgin, PLUS an original 9x12 ink sketch of any character in comics or cartoons. Check out the images below and if you're into it, take a look and consider switching your reward over to the Alex commission.

Friends - Thanks for giving us such a strong start to this campaign! We're nearing 90 backers and almost 50% of the way to our goal just 2 days into the campaign!
I'm going to be add new goodies to the campaign over the next 2-3 weeks, so make sure to look at these updates as they come in. For example, if you're here for Alex Schumacher's "C Cover" and like custom commissions, you'll want to pay attention to these updates early next week...
FOR NOW - I just added a new ADD-ON item. Scott Snyder will sign a copy of The CloakRoom for you! Scott does this to help us reach out funding goals. All the money goes back into printing and art costs, and into paying the creators once we break even.
This Add-On is limited to just a few copies, and is only available to physical backers. So if you already signed up for a reward tier that includes any physical item, you can go back in NOW to manage your pledge and you'll see "SIGNED BY SCOTT" in the add-on section.
